Worldwide Day of Play

Saturday was the official Worldwide Day of Play. So Mama, Dada and I decided to go to the park. Now mind you, it was 108 degrees in Santa Clarita yesterday so we left at 9 a.m. to avoid the heat. I even wore my St. John hat that Tutu bought for me before I was even born. It finally fits! This time I was able to go up and down the stairs and through the tubes all by myself...
Mama came with me to the top...
And I really loved the swings...
Wheeee!
When we got home I loved my hat so much that I didn't want to take it off during snack time.
You caught me!
After my nap, Mimi came to pick Mama and me up for a shopping adventure in Camarillo for Mama's birthday. Good thing too...it was only 83 degrees there. Here we are taking a cracker break...

I loved standing on the bench so I could watch all the people go by. Hi, Mama...
After three hours of shopping (I was a real trooper and didn't complain at all) we had dinner at IHOP, my favorite place! I ate lots of pancakes, eggs and grapes and was so tired I fell asleep on the way home. Thanks, Mimi! We had a blast!
So it was an exciting Saturday to say the least. Have a great week, everyone!

Bathtime Without My Little Tubbie

Hi, everyone!

So sorry we haven't posted in a few weeks. I got sick (just a quick 36-hour virus...I'm good now) and Mama has been really busy at work. But the good news is Mama got her new netbook last week and it is up and running for her to blog anytime she wants. So we all promise to check in with all of you a lot more often from here on out.
Thought I'd clue you in on a new development in the life of Noah. The other day Cousin Jack and I decided to try bathing together in the big tub at Mimi and Pop's house and it wasn't too bad. So we decided to try it at home the other night. At first I was a bit aprehensive...
Then I realized that I had a lot of extra space to move around...
Oooo, it's so fun to float around on your tummy in all the extra space (plus I couldn't resist showing you an adorable butt shot)...

So, little inflatable tubbie, you and I had some great times together but it's time to say goodbye...and hello to the big tub! Whoo-hoo!

Welcome to California, Emily Rose!

I know some of you already saw photos of our visit with our new friend, Emily Rose, from Texas on Jack's Blog but I wanted to share my own thoughts about our afternoon of fun. Emily was traveling in Orange County with her Mama and Dada (Allison and Paul) and her Mimi and Papa (Meg and Denny). So how could they be in California without meeting Jack and me?

At first Jack and I were not too sure what to think of our beautiful new friend. Jack thought he'd break the ice by taking photos of everyone.
We've been following Emily on her blog for over a year now. She was even more stunning in the flesh. Look at that smile!
Then we decided to take in a few minutes of the football game.
And we even played nicely together and shared the toys.
Here's a photo of all the ladies at our party. From left to right, Dele (our good family friend and frequent blog follower), Allison (Emily's Mama), Ali (my Mama), Grammy Mary (my great-grandma), Meg (Emily's Mimi), Aunt Jenn (Jack's Mama), Pat (my Mimi). Wow that's a lot of I Mamas and Mimis. It was so nice to visit with Allison and Meg. They have been such good fans of my blog and we were all so thrilled to finally talk and play in person.
Then we all moved outside for some real fun. Jack shared his wagon with Emily and me and even tried to pull us around the yard.
Then Dada pulled Emily and Jack and I helped.
Then I thought I'd push Emily and Jack. Hours of fun ensued. What an absolutely priceless afternoon we all had!

Thanks so much, Emily, Allison, Meg and Denny, for such a great visit. We look forward to seeing all of you again very soon...

Labor Day Fun!

I know Jack posted some awesome photos from Labor Day last week but I wanted to share a few gems of my own.

Here's cousin Jack in our living room. We were having a great time playing and I even shared my tent with him. We had a blast!
He also loved my egg chair. It's amazing, right?
Jack is always so hospitable, takes good care of his younger cousin and makes sure that I have everything I need while we are playing, including snacks and tasty beverages. Thanks, buddy!
And then the "lovefest" began. Jack LOVES giving me hugs. I'm not so sure what to make of all the love but...
...I'm so glad I have such a great cousin!

Thanks, everyone, for a great Labor Day. Let's do it again next year...

Swimming Fun with Tutu and Sir

Hi, everyone!

So sorry I didn't get a chance to blog last week. Mama was very busy and she apologizes for not posting more often. She is getting her own netbook for her birthday (yeah!) and she promises to do better.

Anyhoo, I thought you'd like to see pictures from a swimming adventure I had at Tutu and Sir's house a few weeks ago. I am really getting the hang of kicking and blowing bubbles (note to self...don't drink the water) and I love to jump off the side of the pool into Tutu's arms. I had to get in some extra practice before our trip to Maui next month. Here I am with Tutu. The suspicious seal-like creature in the background is Dada. He was practicing using his snorkel.
Here I am with Tutu and Sir. We had so much fun that I cried when it was time to get out.
And finally, here I am checking out the waterfall. Not so sure I like the water splashing my face but I'll work on it.

Noah: The Lost Episodes, Part II

Hi, Everyone! Hope you had a great week. I know I did.

Dada forgot that he had a few photos from Mimi and Pop's Anniversary Party on his phone camera. We know you saw photos from Mimi and on Cousin Jack's blog but I thought I'd share my very first adventures with ice. Here I am discovering the stuff in these buckets. They were right there at my level so that was definitely an invitation to check it out. Ice: it's cold and wet and fun. What more could you ask for?
I put a few pieces in my mouth to see if it tastes good...
Not bad. Then Mama tried to trade me the ice for my water. Nah, I'm sticking with the ice, Mama. I love it!

Have a super weekend, everyone, and a great Labor Day!
