New Year's Day Big Music Show

Yesterday was New Year's Day! We spent a quiet day at Mimi and Pop-Pop's house. We watched the Rose Parade (I liked the horses the best) and got lots of rest after out late night.
In the afternoon, Jack and his Mommy and Daddy joined us for dinner and fun. Jack and I ate our dinner at the kitchen bar watching "Yo Gabba Gabba." It was fun!
But then the real fun began. Mimi had this big box for us to open after dinner. It was a leftover Christmas gift. I bet you can't guess what's inside...
I tore through the wrapping as fast as I could.
Jack did, too!
If you guessed that it was full of musical instruments, then you'd be right! Here's Jack testing out a harmonica and jingle bells.
And here I am shaking the maracas. I was on fire!
I also loved the tin whistle. It's good and loud!
Daddy got into the groove with these bells.
And Uncle Jon banged on this tambourine.
Then it was time for a good old fashioned Livingston parade! Here's a video of our musical adventure. Everyone joined in and we rocked!
After a bath, it was finally time to say goodbye and go home for the night. Jack and I posed for one last photo with our jammies on and our lovies on our heads. Silly!
So happy New Year, everyone! 2011 is going to be the best year yet!
