Happy Father's Day!

We spent Father's Day at Uncle Jon, Auntie Jenn and Cousin Jack's house.

We gave Dada a lot of nice gifts, including a travel coffee mug with a picture of both of us on it. Here we are taking in the festivities. So, Dada, can I have a sip of your tasty brew?
No such luck. Mama gave me a cracker instead.
A boy can hope...
Here I am with my grandpa, Sir. But I've got more to see...
So Jack got a new water table and I was very hesitant to try it at first. You know all about me and water. But when no one was looking, I decided to try it out. Pretty good for splashing...
And so much to see and do...
Auntie Nora came over to help me splash...
And then I really got going. This is so fun!
Jack watched me from a lawn chair. Thanks for sharing your new toy with me, buddy!
And then, I became "Noah the Focused," as Pop likes to call me. It was all serious business as I took everything in.
After a costume change and some dinner, Jack and I gave each other lots of kisses.
We had all the adults cracking up.
And I had a blast playing with Jack's fridge magnets. Mama says we have stainless steel so magnets don't stick to our fridge. Gotta get a magnet board, I think.
We thought we'd finish out the night with a group photo of all the dads and the boys.
These things don't always go as planned with two toddlers...
Here I am with Dada and his Dada (Sir)...
And here I am with my Mama and her Dada (Pop)...
And of course, here's a photo of Uncle Mike and his baby-to-be. Wow, that baby is getting soooooo big! Only five more weeks...

Well, a good time was had by all. Happy Father's Day! Let's do it again next year...

Pots, Pans and Ice Cream

I figured out how to get into that kitchen cabinet this week. Mama was busy washing dishes so I nonchalantly made my way over there and pulled out a few to check them out. Wow, banging pots and pans is so much fun!
Oooops, she caught me. Now I'm busted!
Maybe not. After the cabinet incident, Mama let me have some ice cream. It was fabulous!
OK, so let me get this straight. You get into something that you know is bad, Mama catches you and then you get ice cream. Works for me!

I'm 18 months old!

Greetings to all my cyber fans!

On June 12 I passed another landmark in my cute little life...I'm now 18 months old! So I thought I'd put my life into perspective for all of you.

First thing you have to remember is that life for an 18-month-old boy moves VERY fast. If you blink, you might miss something.
But you can't forget to take time out of your busy schedule for some wholesome foods. I love my milk and Mama says it build strong bones.
You also have to keep up with your reading. Books are my life...I can't get enough of them, especially at bedtime. Mama has to cut me off at two or we'd be up all night long. I love "Good Night Moon" the best...we read it EVERY night. Mama knows it by heart, I think.
I also love just hanging around. You gotta take a few moments a day to ponder the big stuff. Like what can I get into next that they haven't thought of yet? You know, that cabinet in the kitchen with all the bakeware is calling my name. Maybe I'll figure out how to get in there over the next few days...
And you definitely have to have lots and lots of fun. I especially love it when my Dada plays with me. He knows just where all my tickle spots are.
And you can't forget to take in a few good children's programs once in a while. I have to admit that I am quite hooked on "Yo Gabba Gabba" and "Jack's Big Music Show." I just stand there mezmerized, sucking my thumb and taking it all in. Mama thinks I'm hillarious.
So there you have it. I hope I've given all of you some serious insight into the adventures of 18-month-olds! See you soon...

I LOVE My New Tubbie!

Hi, Everyone!

Those of you who have been following my blog since I was a newborn know that I just barely enjoy taking a bath. I've started to have fun splashing around a bit and have really taken to my tub toys but I think I've reached a whole new level of bath time zen. My new tubbie, which goes in the big tub, has allowed me to stretch out a bit and lounge in the tub. It's a relaxing end to a tough toddler day, I tell you.
We tried to be as PG as we could with my tubbie photos. But I didn't really understand what the washcloth was doing there. I'll just remove it...
Hope you all have as much fun in the tub as I do. Stay clean out there, people!

While My Parents Were Away...

Hi, everyone!

My Mama and Dada took a well deserved movie outing on Saturday so Tutu and Sir let me hang out with them at their joint. I spied this interesting device just sitting there within my reach so I thought I'd check it out. They tell me it's called a "computer." Whatever, people, it looks like "fun" to me.
Sir, it's asking me if you want to reformat your hard drive. You want that, right? Let me just push this key and see what happens...
Maybe I have a future in this "computer" thing. Who knows?

Have a super week, everyone! Bye for now...

Aunt Marisa's Having a Baby!

This past Saturday, we went to a baby shower for Uncle Mike and Auntie Marisa at Tutu and Sir's house. They're my godparents, you know. Apparently they're having a baby and "she" is growing VERY fast. Wow, there's a baby in there? Amazing!
Mama says that baby showers are usually just for ladies but they let us guys hang out. Here I am with Mimi. She's the best!
Auntie Marisa does hula for fun. Neat, huh? Her hula sisters were there to do some special dances just for her baby.
I loved the hula dancing and music soooo much. It mellowed me right out. Good thing Auntie Jenn was there to hold me.
Then Auntie Marisa did hula dance all by herself for her little baby-to-be. There was not a dry eye in the house.
The day would not have been complete without one of Pop's silly hats. I looked fabulous, don't you think?
And of course Cousin Jack was there, too! We played with toys, ate lots of fishy crackers and yummy fruit and enjoyed all the great grass in Tutu and Sir's backyard.
And Auntie Darlene came all the way from Miami for the festivities. She is a scream!
Here are Auntie Marisa and Uncle Mike with their "little bundle."
And here is Auntie Marisa with all of her sisters: Uncle Mike's sister Liz (who came all the way from Washington), Auntie Darlene, Mama and Auntie Nora.
And here is Dada with his beautiful sisters. What a fun day! We sure did shower the parents-to-be with best wishes for a healthy and happy baby. See you in late July, little one!

Week of Water Fun!

Hi, Everyone! So sorry I haven't blogged for a while but Mama, Dada and I were on vacation and Mama was having too much fun to blog. So I thought I'd catch you up...

So, we started out our vacation in La Quinta, our favorite vacation spot! We spent the holiday weekend at Tutu and Sir's condo and had lots of fun. But it was really, really hot so I we thought it would be fun to take our first swim of the season. Here are Dada and I on our way to the pool...
Remember my cool pool floatie? Well it still fits! This time, though, I kicked and kicked in the water and had lots of fun splashing, too.
The pool is so great! Not bad for the first swim of the season. Hooray!
The next day, it was still really, really hot. So I thought I'd try out my new pool. It looked like fun until...
Hey, what are all these squirts coming out?! You didn't say anything about my face getting wet! And why am I wearing a hat?!
Once I lost the ridiculous hat Mama made me wear, I realized that I could walk around a bit and not get my face too wet. Much better...
OK, so maybe I'm getting the hang of my new pool. I was quite refreshing and I could splash as much as I wanted. I guess I'll try it again sometime.
When we got home, the pool at our community's rec center was open so we thought we'd try out the squirt zone for kids. Except the squirts were super crazy (made for bigger kids, I think) so I was not too sure about trying it out. Dada was there so I thought we'd at least get a little wet...
Are you kidding?! There are buckets dumping water on us! Hey, little girl, watch out! This is too much for me!
Whew, that was intense. Everything's always better when Mama is there. Maybe we'll just stick to the pool next time.

Stay cool out there, people! See you next time...
