On Tuesday, Jack and I decided that we needed a change of scenery from the resort so we headed to the Maui Ocean Center to visit the Hawaiian Aquarium. I had never been to an aquarium before and I was instantly mesmerized by all the fish!
Wow, there are a lot of fish in there!
If there is one thing about Maui it's that there are a million different, colorful and beautiful fish to see. Here are just a few of the lovelies we saw in the tanks.
Hey, Daddy! Can we go in there?
Mimi was there to share in my experience. Wow, huh?
The best part of our visit was the turtle exhibit. We saw a bunch of baby turtles the same age and Jack and I. They are going to release them into the wild in just a few months.
Did you know that the green sea turtles in Hawaii are on the endangered species list? That means we all have to work extra hard to protect them.
Wow, look at these beauties! Jack and I listened to the docent lady talk on and on about turtles waiting patiently for her to finish so that we could watch her feed them but we got ansy so we missed that part. Oh well. Moving on...
Jack and I also liked the shark tank. We saw hammerheads and black tips. Awesome!

I also liked sticking my hands in this touch tank. It was cold but nice.
But the highlight of the trip was this cool magnet display in the gift shop. Go figure.

After a very long nap that afternoon (I slept from about 1:30 to 4:45...I was tired), our whole group had dinner at Duke's. Here I am with Mommy and Daddy. It was really windy. Whew!
Here are all of us Livingstons in front of the famous Duke's surf board...
And the Dirstines...
And here's the whole group. I love how Jack is peeking out under his Mommy's dress. Silly!

OK, so how do you get two tired and bored toddlers to look at the camera for a family picture?
You put an iPhone with "Yo Gabba Gabba" playing in front of the camera! This really saved our dinner and kept Jack and I busy for at least 45 minutes.
No dinner at Duke's would be complete without Hula Pie! Here are Aunt Darlene, Aunt Suzanne and Aunt Mary digging in. Yum!
Little Ella, Aunt Marisa and Uncle Mike had fun, too! Ella had a delicious smoothie to keep her occupied.
Well, another beautiful day in paradise! Stayed tuned for more of my adventures...

You are having such a fun-filled trip, Noah! I bet you don't want it to come to an end but undoubtedly you will be back!
What fun at the aquarium! I love the picture of you and Mimi! I'm glad you and Jack and Ella tolerated as many photo ops as you did so we can all share your fun trip and you can remember later how great it was!
Noah, dinner at Duke's was really fun. Duke Kahanamoku was Hawaii's most famous surfer. Maybe some day you will surf the waves in Maui like Duke Kahanamoku did long ago. Love you, Tutu
