Day two of our Maui vacation began with me getting up at 4:45 a.m. and demanding breakfast. Poor Mommy and Daddy. But hey, I was still on L.A. time so I think I slept as long as could be expected (nine hours is pretty good in my book). Mommy tired to tell me that it was too early and still dark outside but I was ready to start the day. Go figure.
The weather was fabulous so we decided to spend the whole day at the pool. Here's the view of the ocean from the pool deck. Lovely!
I was pumped and ready for a big day of fun in the water for sure!
I had to test out my new Puddle Jumper floatie. I actually did pretty well with it during the trip and started to float by myself by the end of the first day.
And of course I had to hang out in the shade with Mommy. It was breezy but hot so the shade was a perfect place to rest.
I also did a few aerodynamic pool jumps with Sir. Wheee!
That night, we decided to BBQ at the resort for dinner. Uncle Mike and Sir made chicken and fish. Ella and I had a blast running on the grass in front of our building. We are such pals!
Some of us were quite wild. OK so maybe we both were but Daddy just happened to catch a photo of Ella's wild side in action.
Here's the sunset at the end of our second day on the island right from in front of our building. Breathtaking, right?
What an amazing day we had playing in the sun! Stay tuned for day three of our vacation: a date with Mommy and dinner at Whaler's Village...
